Real people.
Real momentum.

JDLD is back for its fourth edition. Previous events brought together learners, educators, builders and community participants — and 2026 takes the experience further.

From awareness to action.

JDLD 2026 is designed as a future-skills festival: a place to learn, build, compete, showcase, meet partners and continue into practical opportunity after the event.

The competition keeps the entry barrier low while giving stronger teams room to stretch. Both tracks are built around solving real problems and showing practical value.

Track A · Applied AI Challenge

Build an AI that knows.

Beginner-friendly. Chatbots welcome.
  • Clear user and problem
  • Useful information or source grounding
  • Working demonstration
  • No advanced coding required
Stretch with RAG, workflows, tools, forms, APIs or agentic actions.
Track B · AI Innovation Challenge

Build an AI that analyses and acts.

Data. Prediction. Automation. Vision. Agents.
  • Meaningful input or data
  • Analysis, recommendation, prediction or action
  • Working prototype with practical value
  • Greater technical depth encouraged
Training a model from scratch is not required. Useful implementation matters more than unnecessary complexity.
